Shakthi FM - The Number 01 Tamil Hit Music Station in Sri Lanka operated under the MBC (Maharaja Broadcasting Company) has given the young talents to establish themselves in various paths with brands called Shakthi Namma Hits, Shakthi Radio Superstar, Shakthi Supervoices etc..
Now the Shakthi Fm has taken its Dimension to the International level and now more talents can take part in the New Event based on Music...
Mission:
Objectives of the ‘Shakthi Nam Naattu Isai Virudhu 2010’ Music Competition:
We aim to find a number of young Music Talents around the world in the spirit of this competition; that being to allow musicians to compete in an international setting, and gain recognition worldwide via Shakthi FM, a welknown tamil Radio among tamil speaking people.
Rules & Regulations
*Competition Categories:
Song: under any Theme
Jingle: Theme should be based on Shakthi FM
* Song should be a Fresh one- not released by any media or inserted to any album.
* Song/Jingle should not carry unpleasant wordings
* Song duration should be 4 - 5min and Jingle duration 45sec-1min
* The Song/Jingle Sound Quality should be in a manner to broadcast in Radio.
* Once the song/Jingle is completed and Ready please send it along with an application filled.

Competition Schedule*:
1) From 1st April – 15th May 2010 – collection of the songs/jingles via registered post and email
2) The best songs/jingles amoung from those received will be selected by the most outstanding
judges from Sri Lanka and India. (May last week)
3) Then the songs are set to broadcast in Shakthi FM by giving a code system to the songs/Jingles
and judgement made by the SMS votings and email votings by the listeners until the top 10
songs/Jingles obtained for the Final competition. (June – July end)
4) The Grand Finale will be held in the month of July or August as a Grand Event in 2010.
5) The Final 10 songs will be made as an ALBUM released by M-ENTERTAINMENT
